Vending Product Variety – Healthy and Regular Selections

Product variety is one of the most crucial factors in an excellent employee vending and refreshment program. Good product variety can be further divided into a few key points. These are the areas where a vending company can fall short:

Offering only one brand of drinks – like a Coke only or a Pepsi only drink vending machine

Offering can only or bottle only drink vending machines

Filling multiple rows or columns in the vending machine with the same exact product which diminishes the overall selection

Not putting what the employees want in the vending machines

Changing out popular snack or drink selections (for no apparent reason)

Limitations Coke and Pepsi Branded Machines

First let’s look offering only one brand of product in a machine – this occurs almost exclusively in the Coke and Pepsi operate vending machines and many vending companies will receive free drink vending machines from them to use in their own vending business.

Here’s the big problem with that – you are restricted to only one line of products. Many people are die hard Coke drinkers and many are die hard Pepsi drinkers. By only offering one or the other you are sure to anger about 1/2 of the employees.

Both companies have many extremely popular products so why shouldn’t you have access to all of them. We do this by offering non-Coke and non-Pepsi branded machines which allows our vending locations to have both and other products not make by Coke and Pepsi.
